Acne seems to be the great equalizer. It’s the one condition that almost everyone suffers from at some point in his or her life. An acne breakout can cause you to lose confidence in yourself, and if not treated properly, it can actually cause serious long-term damage to the skin.
If you have acne, you’ve probably seen TV commercials or magazine ads for various acne treatments. Of course, each ad claims that their acne treatment product is the best. You’ll see bold claims like: Enjoy clear skin in just 3 days! or Never suffer another breakout again!

Question by Marlena: What’s a good facial AND body acne treatment product?
Okay, so I like to wear scented lotions and stuff but I’ve noticed that the day after I break out on areas like my chest and face and neck and I’d like to know a good acne treatment that’s simple. Something I can get from Walgreens or Target or something, without having to give up the lotions. Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance. x

I am currently using Murad Body Spray [HIGHLY RECOMMENDED] & it has gotten rid of the pimples & prevented new ones from coming but I still have the scars & blemishes that they left. What’s a good product that gets rid of them quickly?

I have extremely sensative skin. Like a baby. If i use any face washes with beads in it, my face scratches and it gives me acne scars. Ive tried proactiv and it made my acne worse. Ive tried Retin-A and that dried my skin out, Ive tried pure zone by loreal, im not sure if that was a good idea. it gave me scars, I have acne all over my cheeks. On he left side i have like maybe 40 scars. on the right side i break out alot and i have maybe 20 pimples and 30 scars… I need a good treatment that will make my skin flawless. Ive even tried using bare essentials makeup.. that didnt give me any covrage and it ust looked bad. ive even tried bare vitamins. also rare minerals at night. do you have any suggestions???? remember. no washes with beads ! please! i even tried pills!

I gets the worst cystic acne around my jawline for a week every month. It’s unbearable and painful. Washes and treatments with benzoyl peroxide and sycilic acid only work for bacterial acne, which I don’t have. I’ve heard of birth control being prescribed for acne related to hormones… But I already have a IUD (non hormone birth control) Should I ask my doctor for ortho tri cyclin anyways? And just have 2 birth controls… has anyone had ortho tri cyclin clear their skin?
No I don’t have any children. They used to only give it to women who have had kids before because it stretched the uterus making room for it but now it’s smaller and they just measure the womb right before insertion with a metal rod =)
I haven’t had any problems with it

I rarely break out. Unless I accidently go to bed with makeup on, or just get lazy and don’t wash my face. My scars aren’t that bad either but I was just wondering what anyone else has used to remove them? I tried AcneFree and it was great.
Thanks.

I’ve been using some night time gel that I apply to my nose, and although not specifically for blackheads it stops my skin being as greasy throughout the day.
The only thing I’ve come up with to get rid of blackheads is hot water and a face wash with microbeads, but that’s only a temporary solution.
What’s the best blackhead treatment on the market?
