i have bad acne and im going on vacation soon. does anyone know any remedies to heal acne or imflammatation

I’m reading about this treatment called photodynamic acne treatment or ALA/PDT that doctors claim is very effective on severe acne and i would like to know if anyone has had it done and if the results are as good as they are claimed to be. please let me know i have already scheduled an appointment and it is expensive i really dont want to spend more money if it’s not worth it . thanks.

I had terrible acne as a teenager and although it’s gone now my skin looks dull, distressed and discoloured, it really makes me look unhealthy, would you recommend it?

My son’s dermatologist is trying a prescription body wash for my son’s severe acne, and said if this doesn’t work, he will try accutane. I was reading up on the literature he gave us about it and some of the side effects are pretty bad. I’d like to hear from someone who’s used it, did it help the acne? What side effects did you have?

Since acne is caused by hormonal imbalances of having too much androgen in the system, why can’t doctors just give acne sufferers something to lower their levels of androgen? All the topical treatments are just treating the symptoms, not the cause. Someone please explain to me why we just can’t treat the cause and cure acne. Is it cuz too many companies make money off of selling acne products?

I dont have horrible scars because i never really had cystic acne. I just have some dark and red spots where acne was before, does anyone know how to treat these besides makeup, cause im a guy.

it might be be something else i am not sure?it is behind my b/f’s ear and it is huge he doesnt have a bunch of spots or anything just one reall big swollen cyst of some sort? any help please.
