There are many forms of acne treatments and they vary depending on the severity of your acne. The first stage of acne is called mild acne and it is characterized by about three dozen comedones or blackheads and scattered papules which are small pimples without the pus. You won’t be able to notice some of the symptoms unless you take a closer look. Acne treatments recommended by dermatologists for this acne stage include washing the affected areas twice a day with a mild cleanser and applying topical oil free, non-comedogenic, and non-acnegenic gels, solutions, creams, and lotions.
The second stage is the moderate acne and it is characterized by inflamed red lesions, numerous comedones or blackheads, as well as numerous pustules which are pimples filled with pus. Acne treatments recommended by dermatologists include prescription oral drugs such as minocyline, tetracyline, doxycyline, erythromycin, ibuprofen, and isotretinion. These acne treatments can also be partnered with application of topical medications and other anti-acne products.
Since being pregnant i’ve been getting crazy acne all over my face and body!!! its getting warm here in california and i am embrassed to wear a tanktop!!! i researched online earlier and it said that its all hormonal and it should regulate back to normal skin type after i give birth to my baby girl… but i will still have these ugly acne scars everywhere… so to stop before it gets worse i decided to get some acne treatment… i was at walmart today and i decided to get neutrogena acne face soap as well as body acne body wash by neutrogena.. i heard proactiv products were safe for pregnant women but shouldnt any ance treatment be okay as long as its not a medication i take orally?? if its only used on outside of my body will that harm the baby??? i should of thought about before buying =(
I have bad acne on my back and shoulders, and a little on my chest. So, i’ve been using Neutrogena’s body scrub acne treatment. But i was wondering if i can use a regular body wash before/after i use the body scrub? This stuff is just for treating body acne, not for cleaning/refreshing the rest of your body. So i’d like to use a body wash so i can clean the rest of myself and smell good. Will using a different body wash make this body scrub less effective? And since what causes the acne on me is oil/sweat, should i use a moisturizing body wash with the scrub?
I have back acne, not furiously, but at least 10 scattered around between my should blades. I have tried nearly every acne treatment, but nothing works. How can i get rid of this?
also, from various treatments, i now have small, dot scars on my back from the acne, how i can i make them less noticeable, since they are very dark
I had acne for a long time and thankfully it already started to vanish little by little. However, my skin is light and I have horrible red and dark marks of acne. I would appreciate your help if you know a good cream or treatment for this, besides my skin is still oily. Thanks a lot
